Guild Esports Hits Major Audience Milestone with Half-a-Million Followers

Second Instalment of 'Patch Collection' Apparel Range Released

Guild Esports (LSE: GILD), a global team organisation and lifestyle brand, is pleased to announce the achievement of a major audience milestone as it surpasses 500,000 social media followers across all channels.

In less than one year since its launch, the follower growth of Guild Esports across social media has cemented the Company as the world's fastest-growing esports organisation, with a 230% increase in social media following taking place over the past two months alone.

As of May 19th, 2021, the split of owned audience across Guild channels is as follows:

Alongside the owned social media following, Guild Esports also has access to its network audience of over 13 million across Guild's pro players and content creators.

Today, Guild is also pleased to announce the launch of the first major expansion to its apparel line, 'Patch Collection', with the release of Patch 0.2.1.

The limited-edition Patch Collection dovetails with the recently released Core Collection to strengthen the ever-growing apparel offering from Guild.

Patch 0.2.1 draws heavy inspiration from popular streetwear trends, youth fashion and introduces new colourways and product types. As part of Guild Esports' sustainable living drive, every garment is made in the UK by using organic cotton and recycled polyester.

The full Patch 0.2.1 range consists of three unisex hoodies and t-shirts in various colours, a cap, and socks. All items will feature Guild's logo designed by the acclaimed streetwear designer Fergus Purcell. Prices for the new collection will range from £10 to £55 at retail and all products will be available for shipping to the U.K., Europe and the USA.

The new Patch Collection comes six months after the debut line was introduced. Since then, the Guild brand's worldwide recognition has grown strongly, in part driven by victories in major Fortnite and Rocket League tournaments as well as the surge in Guild's followers on social media from approximately 10,000 to over 500,000.

Select garments from the Patch 0.2.1 range made their social media debut last week after being worn by Guild Esports co-owner David Beckham and content creator Thomas Ngegba ('TN25') in an interview created in support of the launch of the Guild Academy that was shared across both the Company's and David Beckham's social channels.

The new Patch Collection will be available to pre-order today, May 20th 9 am BST, exclusively on the Guild Esports website, at apparel.guildesports.com.

The Company plans to introduce further collections and product lines in due course.
