Pavel Akilin Appointed as Acting Director General of Rosseti Tomsk
Starting from July 1, Pavel Akilin is to occupy this post along with acting in his capacity as chief executive at Rosseti Siberia and Tyvaenergosbyt.
"The decision is part of the process of streamlining managerial functions within the ROSSETI Group. The Siberian Federal District is one of the largest in extent in Russia, with millions of people living in urban agglomerations. Apart from major industrial centers, the region is also known for its severe climate. Efforts to synergize the strengths of the companies using the resources of Rosseti Siberia will enhance their competencies and enable them to perform better in carrying out their current tasks related to electricity supply reliability and socioeconomic development in the macroregion," Andrey Ryumin said.
Pavel Akilin has considerable experience of working in the electricity industry (23 years), previously holding managerial positions at Rosseti Centre, Rosseti Center and Volga Region, ROSSETI Northern Caucasus, Rosseti Lenenergo, ROSSETI South, and INTER RAO - Management of Electric Power Plants.
Oleg Petrov, his predecessor at Rosseti Tomsk, will remain with the company as its managing director.
