Gabelli Value Plus+ Trust (UK): Voluntary Liquidation

FTSE Russell notes the proposed voluntary liquidation of Gabelli Value Plus+ Trust (UK, BTLJYS4, FTSE SmallCap Index) whereby, subject to shareholder approval, the listing of the company's shares on the London Stock Exchange will be cancelled. The appointed liquidators will subsequently work with Gabelli Value Plus+ Trust to realise the remaining investments and distribute proceeds to shareholders, which could take some time to complete.
Based on the current timetable, Gabelli Value Plus+ Trust shares are due to suspend from trading from the open of Monday 12 July 2021, with the final shareholder meeting occurring shortly after. Accordingly, FTSE Russell intends to delete Gabelli Value Plus+ Trust from the indices concurrent with the anticipated suspension date (i.e. from the open on 12 July 2021).
FTSE Russell will issue further notices in due course.
