Appointment of Non-Executive Director

 

 

London, 21 July 2021 - Unilever PLC today announces that Adrian Hennah has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the company, with effect from 1 November 2021. Adrian will join the Audit Committee upon appointment.

 

Nils Andersen, Chairman of Unilever, said: "I am very pleased that Adrian has agreed to join the Board. He has had a successful executive career, most recently in the consumer goods sector, and has extensive experience leading large and well-respected organisations. Adrian will further strengthen the Board with his deep knowledge in the areas of finance and his broad experience in our industry."

 

Adrian spent 18 years in Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles at three FTSE 100 companies. He was CFO at Reckitt Benckiser Group plc for seven years and held the same position at Smith & Nephew plc and Invensys plc. Prior to this he spent 18 years at GlaxoSmithKline plc working in both finance and operations. Adrian began his career at PwC.

 

Adrian is currently a Non-Executive Director at J Sainsburys plc. Adrian was previously an Executive Director at Reckitt Benckiser Group plc and a Non-Executive Director at RELX plc. There are no additional matters that require disclosure under 9.6.13R of the UK Listing Rules.
