29.10.2021 - Report 33/2021: Appointment of the Vice-President of the Management Board of Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna

Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna (the "Bank") hereby informs that on 29 October 2021 the Supervisory Board of the Bank, after assessing suitability, appointed Mr. Piotr Zborowski to the Management Board of the Bank for the current joint term of office as the Vice-President of the Management Board of the Bank with the effect from 5 November 2021.

According to the submitted statement Mr. Piotr Zborowski does not conduct any business competitive to that of the Bank and he is not involved in a competitive business as a shareholder or partner in a civil law company, a partnership or a corporation or a member of a corporate body of a competitive corporation or legal person. Mr. Piotr Zborowski is not registered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors kept pursuant to the provisions of the KRS (National Court Register) Act of 20 August 1997.

The curriculum vitae of Mr. Piotr Zborowski, containing information specified in § 10 point 4 of the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance of 29 March 2018 regarding current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities and conditions for recognizing as equivalent information required by the laws of the state not being a member state, constitutes an attachment to this current report.

Legal basis: § 5 point 5 of the Finance Minister's Ordinance of 29 March 2018 re. current and periodic reports published by the issuers of securities and the rules under which the information required by the laws of non-member states shall be deemed equivalent

Mr. Piotr Zborowski is a graduate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Faculty of Law and Administration, majoring in law. He also completed trainee attorney-at-law at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw.

From September 2020, Mr. Piotr Zborowski was the director responsible for the area of servicing the corporate bodies of the Bank. In the scope of his duties, he also had ownership supervision and support for the work of the Management Board and Supervisory Board at Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A. He was involved in the process of developing and implementing the bank's strategy, implementing a number of strategic projects, including the project of integration with the Idea Bank S.A. enterprise acquired by the Bank under the decision of the Bank Guarantee Fund and cooperation on behalf of the Bank with the PZU S.A. Group.

In the years 2011 - 2014, Mr. Piotr Zborowski ran his own business in the scope of legal affairs and advisory.

In the years 2018 - 2019 he was responsible for organizational and legal supervision at the Military Trade Company and was involved in developing the company's long-term strategy.

In 2018, he was an adviser at the Military Property Agency, where he was involved in processes related to the management of unlicensed property and special trading.

In the years 2019-2020 he was employed in government administration bodies: the Chancellery of the Prime Minister as an Advisor in the Political Cabinet of the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and in the Ministry of State Assets as the Deputy Director of the Minister's Office, where he was responsible for coordinating cooperation with the Polish Parliament and the President of the Republic of Poland in the field of the legislative process and for the participation of the Minister in auxiliary bodies of the Council of Ministers.

He co-created the concept of the long-term operation of the Ministry and was actively involved in legal processes and projects ran in the supervised units.

Since October 2021, he has been a Member of the Supervisory Board of Energopomiar Sp. z o.o.
