JUST GROUP PLC Directorate changes

Just Group plc ("Just", the "Group") announces the appointment of Mary Kerrigan as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Group with effect from 1 February 2022. Mary is already, and will continue to be, a Non-Executive Director of Just's subsidiary Life Companies, Just Retirement Limited ("JRL") and Partnership Life Assurance Company Limited ("PLACL") and is Chair of their Investment Committees.
Mary has considerable experience in the pensions, life insurance and investment industries, and is a former partner of Willis Towers Watson. Mary is a Non-Executive Director of New Ireland Assurance Company, Aegon Asset Management UK plc, and a member of the Independent Governance Committee of Prudential Assurance UK Limited.
In addition, the Group announces that Clare Spottiswoode has informed the Board of her intention not to seek re-election at the 2022 AGM in May 2022 and therefore will step down on 10 May 2022.
Clare Spottiswoode, said:
"I was attracted to Just because the ethos was clearly to genuinely put customers first and to ensure we gave them good value. My experience on the Board absolutely justifies those first impressions. What I was not aware of was how innovative and thoughtful the management would be, responding to challenges and consistently delivering what was promised. I will miss Just and the team."
The Group also wishes to announce the following appointments:
Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.11, Ian Cormack, Senior Independent Director of the Group, has been appointed to the Market Disclosure Committee with effect from 1 February 2022 and Kalpana Shah, Non-Executive Director of the Group, has been appointed as a member of the Subsidiary Audit Committees with effect from 1 February 2022.
In addition, Kathy Byrne has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Group's subsidiary Life Companies, JRL and PLACL, effective 1 February 2022. Kathy will also join the JRL and PLACL Investment Committees on appointment.
Kathy has over 30 years' experience in the life insurance, pensions, general insurance and savings industries, and is a qualified actuary. In addition her prior CEO commercial experience with a strong customer focus will complement both the Life Companies and wider Group Board.
