RE-RELEASE OF TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES ANNOUNCEMENT

The Transaction in own Shares announcement for Berkeley Group Holdings released, on 25 April 2022 at 17.30 under RNS No 2683J has been re-released in the interests of market clarity as it was previously released in error under the Company's bond holding listing (The Berkeley Group PLC).

Transaction in own shares

The Company announces that on 25 April 2022 it purchased for cancellation 76,430 of its ordinary shares of 5.4141p each ("Shares") through UBS, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 3 September 2021.

The Shares purchased on 25 April 2022 will be cancelled and will not be held as Treasury shares. Following the cancellation of these Shares, the Company has 111,603,628 Shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares). This is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
