Final dividend

The Directors of the Edinburgh Investment Trust plc (the "Company") announced on 26 May 2022 that they are proposing a final dividend of 6.40 pence per ordinary share for the year to 31 March 2022, (2021: 6.00 pence) implying a full year payout of 24.80 pence per share. This final dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming AGM on 21 July 2022 and, if agreed, will be payable on 29 July 2022 to ordinary shareholders on the register on 10 June 2022. The shares will be quoted ex-dividend on 9 June 2022.

The Company operates a dividend reinvestment plan ("DRIP") for those who own their shares directly. The final date for receipt of elections under the DRIP will be 10 June 2022.
