Completion of €40m Share Buyback Programme

Origin Enterprises plc (the "Company") announces that on 08 July 2022 it purchased a total of 23,000 of its ordinary shares of EUR 0.01 each (the "ordinary shares") on Euronext Dublin through Goodbody Stockbrokers UC ("Goodbody"), as detailed below.  

Following settlement of the above purchases, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) shall be 115,554,689 (each carrying the right to one vote) and the Company's total number of ordinary shares in treasury (which do not carry voting rights) shall be 10,847,973.

The repurchased ordinary shares will be held in treasury pending their cancellation or re-issue in due course. The purchases complete the Company's €40 million share buyback programme announced on 08 March 2022. Between 09 March 2022 and 08 July 2022, the Company repurchased a total of 10,086,258 ordinary shares at an average price of EUR 3.9656.

In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation) (and the equivalent requirements now enshrined in UK domestic law), the detailed breakdown of individual trades made by Goodbody on behalf of the Company on 08 July 2022 as part of the share buyback programme is set out in the Appendix to this announcement.
