Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Lookers, one of the leading UK motor retail and aftersales service groups, is pleased to announce that Sue Farr will join the Board of Lookers as a Non-Executive Director on 1 September 2022.  She will chair the Remuneration Committee and will join the Audit and Risk and Nomination Committees.

She has over ten years' experience as a non-executive director, with remuneration experience. Her current non-executive directorships are at Accsys Technologies plc (former remuneration chair), as senior independent director at British American Tobacco plc and as remuneration chair at Helical plc.  During the past five years she has also held non-executive directorships at Dairy Crest Plc and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc.

Sue brings considerable experience in marketing, branding and consumer issues to Lookers, from the BBC and Chime Group, along with automotive experience at General Motors Vauxhall.

The Board would like to thank Victoria Mitchell for her diligence and commitment in acting as Interim Chair of the Remuneration Committee pending a permanent appointment and welcomes Sue joining as we approach the triennial review of Lookers' remuneration policy.
