Total voting rights
In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, AO World PLC announces that, as at 31 August 2022, the Company's issued share capital consisted of 576,920,989 ordinary shares of 0.25p each ("Ordinary Shares"). No Ordinary Shares are held in treasury.
The above figure includes:
(a) 1,541,911 Ordinary Shares which were allotted to the AO World Employee Benefit Trust in order to satisfy the release of share awards under the terms of The AO 2018 Incentive Plan (FY19 grant). As previously announced these Ordinary Shares were admitted to listing on 18 August 2022; and
(b) 2,055,301 Ordinary Shares which, as previously announced on 18 August 2022, were allotted and issued to certain directors of the Company. As previously announced these Ordinary Shares were admitted to listing on 24 August 2022.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in AO World PLC as at 31 August 2022 is 576,920,989 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
