Notice of General Meeting
Echo Energy plc, the Latin American focused energy company, announces that it has today published notice convening a General Meeting of the Company ("GM") to be held at 2:00 p.m. on 24 October 2022 at the offices of Fieldfisher LLP, 2 Swan Lane, London EC4R 3TT.
At the GM resolutions seeking, inter alia, the granting of share issuance authorities in respect of the proposed restructuring of the Company's EUR 5.0m 8.0% secured convertible debt facility and accrued interest and, subject to noteholder approval, the restructuring of the EUR 20m 8.0% secured loan notes and accrued interest announced on 12 August 2022 and 5 September 2022 respectively will be put to shareholders.
