RA International Group PLC (AIM: RAI), a specialist provider of complex and integrated remote site services to organisations globally, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lieutenant General Paul Jaques CB CBE as a non-executive director with effect from 1 December 2022. Ian Henderson has also notified the Board of his intention to stand down as a non-executive director with effect from the same date.

Prior to his retirement from the regular British Army in 2019, Paul served as Chief of Materiel (Land) in the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Quarter Master General for the Army.  He was commissioned into the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in 1983 and has a wealth of experience commanding engineering, infrastructure and logistic units on operations in the Middle East and Former Yugoslavia and delivering complex programmes across the whole of Defence.

Paul brings extensive and highly relevant experience across the government space, including through his distinguished service with the British Army. On a personal level, I would like to recognise the considerable contribution Ian has made to the business as he steps away from the RA Board. The Board has greatly benefitted from Ian's counsel, not least with his expertise in investment markets supporting RA as a listed business and his experience in the natural resources industry. Paul William Jaques, aged 61 years, is a Crown Representative and a director of TJAF Limited.
