Update on share buyback programme
On 24 October 2022, Jupiter announced the commencement of a share buyback programme to purchase ordinary shares of 2 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") for up to a maximum consideration of £10 million (the "Programme"). The Programme was scheduled to end no later than 31 December 2022. However, since the commencement of the Programme, the Company notes that it has only repurchased 6,673,459 Ordinary Shares (as at the close of business on 21 December 2022), for a total aggregate consideration of £8 million.
Accordingly, the Company confirms that the Programme will be extended and will continue beyond 31 December 2022, until such time as the total amount spent on purchasing Ordinary Shares under the Programme is as near as practicable to the previously announced maximum consideration of £10 million.
No other terms of the Programme have changed and therefore these remain as outlined in the Company's announcement of 24 October 2022.
