RETIREMENT OF SUPERVISOR

Mr. He Chaofan, the chairman of the supervisory committee (the "Supervisory Committee") of Air China Limited (the "Company"), ceased to serve as the chairman of the Supervisory Committee and a supervisor due to retirement, with effect from the current date.

Mr. He Chaofan confirmed that he has no disagreement with the board of directors of the Company and the Supervisory Committee, and there is no matter that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company and the Supervisory Committee. The retirement of Mr. He Chaofan did not result in the number of members of the Supervisory Committee falling below the statutory minimum requirement and will not affect the operation of the Supervisory Committee.

The Supervisory Committee would like to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. He Chaofan for his contribution during his tenure.
