Publication of Final Terms

The Final Terms dated 19 January 2023 in respect of the issue by The Bank of Nova Scotia (the "Issuer") of USD183,600,000 5.25 per cent. Senior Notes due 23 January 2024 (the "Notes") pursuant to its Euro Medium Term Note Programme (the "Programme") are available for viewing.
The Final Terms in respect of the Notes must be read in conjunction with the Prospectus dated June 30, 2022 and the supplements dated July 26, 2022, August 23, 2022, September 29, 2002 and December 12, 2022 relating to the Programme (together, the "Prospectus") which constitute a base prospectus for the purposes of the Prospectus Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2017/1129, as amended), as it forms part of United Kingdom domestic law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, in order to obtain all the relevant information. Full information on the Issuer and the offer of the Notes is only available on the basis of the combination of the Final Terms and the Prospectus.
