WAIVERS FROM STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH RULES 17.03A, 17.03B(1), 17.03E AND NOTE (1) TO 17.03(18) IN RELATION TO THE EMPLOYEE SHARE SCHEMES

The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited has granted certain waivers to Standard Chartered PLC from compliance with Rules 17.03A, 17.03B(1), 17.03E and note (1) to 17.03(18) of the amended Chapter 17 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange (such amendments took effect on 1 January 2023).
