Energisation of a hybrid solar and battery storage project in Australia
VH Global Energy Infrastructure plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has successfully energised an additional solar and energy storage hybrid system in Australia, on time and on budget. The asset situated in New South Wales is currently operating in accordance with a ramp-up process set by the network operator, and comprises a solar PV site with DC-coupled two-hour 4.95MW battery energy storage system ("BESS").
A further hybrid asset is still expected to be energised in Q3 2025 and, upon completion, the total capacity of the Australian programme will be 37MW/60MWh across seven assets in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.
