Paradigm Housing Group's financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2025

Paradigm Housing Group today reports a surplus of £22.9m and a strong operating margin of 37% for the full financial year ended 31 March 2025.

 

Annual highlights: 

·      Completed 384 new affordable homes, with 90% of customers satisfied with the quality of their new home against a target of 85%, up from 88% last year.

·      Secured 468 new plots secured in year and so we are on target to exceed our corporate plan target of 1,950 homes by March 2026.

·      Invested £52m in home repairs and improvements, including over 39,000 repairs and replacing over 1,500 key components (kitchens, bathrooms, windows, boilers and more) .

·      Secured £4.7m from Wave 3 of the Government's Social Housing Fund towards our energy efficiency programme.

·      Improved the energy efficiency of our homes, with 86% of our homes now at or above an EPC C rating up from 71% last year.

·      Increased our homes in management to 16,992.

·      Relet 734 homes to new customers.

·      Four-week average arrears reduced from 2.8% last year to 2.7% against a target of 2.75%.

·      Maintained our Best Companies 2* accreditation, demonstrating outstanding levels of staff engagement.

The Group surveyed over 1,800 customers during the year and maintained our upper quartile performance with 82% of general needs customers and 58% of shared owners satisfied with our services both exceeding targets in both areas. 81% of customers were satisfied with our repair services. Nicola Ewen, Paradigm Housing Group's Chief Financial Officer, said: "The Group has maintained focus on its objectives despite the continued challenging operating environment. We have achieved upper quartile performance for customer satisfaction, staff engagement and financial metrics, continued to build new homes and invested significantly in our existing homes. We have upheld our reputation with our regulators, investors and lenders as we maintain our position as a financially robust organisation with substantial liquidity, covenant headroom, unencumbered assets and strong margins which we will bring to the table as we prepare to merge with Settle towards the end of 2025.".
