The enterprise-grade ET4x series is a general-purpose set of rugged tablets ideal for a wide range of use cases for delivery drivers and fulfillment personnel in transportation and logistics to retail associates performing assisted selling and line busting tasks. The ET4x series enables retailers to further improve the in-store customer experience by providing flexibility and support for multiple point-of-sale (POS) applications leveraging purpose-built business-class accessories. The payment-ready tablets feature options including tap-to-pay functionality for mobile POS, a new presentation stand for self-service and fixed POS, and a workstation set-up providing a desktop-like experience.
The ET4x series features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera to capture photos for proof of condition and visual in-store merchandising audits, while the 5-megapixel front-facing camera supports video calls that can help save time and reduce errors. An integrated 2D scanner enables fast, accurate data capture of barcodes in virtually any condition for retail price checks and inventory lookups or parcel track and trace. And support for Wi-Fi 6, 5G and citizens broadband radio service (CBRS) ensures connectivity in any environment and increased worker productivity.
“Zebra’s new ET4x series of tablets is delivering on businesses’ need for thin, light devices supported by enterprise-class features, service and support,” said
Unlike consumer tablets, Zebra guarantees the ET4x series will be available for purchase for up to three years, eliminating mixed device deployments that are more time-consuming and costly for IT departments to support. With Zebra’s optional OneCare™ Maintenance Plans, businesses can rely on service and support for their ET40 and ET45 tablets for up to six years, helping front-line workers continue to perform at peak levels while also reducing device vulnerabilities, unbudgeted repair expenses, and unexpected disruptions.
The ET4x series of tablets include select Zebra Mobility DNA software tools to optimize workflows, and improve communications and usability for mobile workers. These tools include Mobility Extensions (Mx), which adds powerful enterprise-class security and manageability features to the standard Android operating system and StageNow, which allows businesses to stage a handful or thousands of devices in seconds.
