Uniper SE: Uniper expects a significant decline in earnings for the first quarter of financial year 2025. Earnings outlook for financial year 2025 remains unchanged.

Uniper expects earnings for the first three months of financial year 2025 to be significantly below the previous year's figures. Based on preliminary and unaudited figures, Uniper expects an Adjusted EBITDA of EUR -139 million (previous year: EUR 885 million) and an Adjusted Net Income of EUR -143 million (previous year: EUR 581 million) for the first three months of the 2025 financial year.

The decline in earnings is due to reduced earnings contributions from hedging transactions in the Flexible Generation segment. Further, the segment Greener Commodities was negatively impacted by past optimization activities in the gas portfolio. Additionally, the loss of revenues from the procurement of gas due to the non-delivery of gas volumes from Russia contributed to the decline in earnings compared to the previous year.

Uniper is maintaining its earnings outlook for the 2025 financial year unchanged.
