In addition to our own personnel and contractors, CenterPoint enhanced its workforce and deployed additional resources across the system since midnight last night, with all personnel working to safely repair equipment and restoring power as quickly as possible for the remaining less than 15,000 customers still without power. Activated Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for storm response to proactively address forecasted storms for Wednesday. - The initial focus in the storm's aftermath is assessing the type of damage to the electric system and leveraging our smart grid to reroute power on unaffected power lines.
