Samsung Electronics Canada Expands Service Capabilities with Launch of Independent Service Provider Program

New program broadens nationwide access to Samsung-authorized parts and industry certified technicians

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2025-- Samsung Electronics Canada is expanding their mobile device repair network with the launch of the Independent Service Provider (ISP) Program. This new initiative aims to enhance customer service and out-of-warranty repair experiences for customers of Samsung mobile products by growing the number of authorized repair centers across the country, offering Canadians more convenient and steady access to certified repair solutions for their Galaxy devices.

Expanding Access to Authorized Repairs Through Local Partnerships

The ISP program is part of Samsung's ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and support. The program is designed to allow qualified independent servicers to perform out-of-warranty repairs on Samsung mobile products and ensure consumers that their mobile product is repaired by Samsung and CTIA’s Wireless Industry Service Excellence (WISE) certified technicians.

By partnering with local, independent repair providers, Samsung aims to increase the availability of authorized repair service locations for out-of-warranty repair, reduce waiting times, and provide customers with more options when it comes to getting their devices repaired.

“WISE Certification is the industry-recognized global standard for retailers, facilities and technicians delivering excellence in device repair,” said Michelle James, Vice President of Strategic Industry Programs at CTIA. “With thousands of WISE Certified retail locations and more than 24,000 WISE Certified technicians, we are proud of Samsung’s commitment to assuring consumers’ device repairs will be handled to the highest standard as an important part of their growing Independent Service Provider program now serving Canada.”

"We are proud to introduce our Independent Service Provider partner program in Canada,” said Frank Martino, Vice President Service at Samsung Electronics Canada. “By expanding access to certified repair services through industry trained and certified service providers, we’re enhancing convenience of out-of-warranty repair services for our customers while supporting the growth of local repair providers. We see potential to grow our Independent Service Provider network vastly across Canada.”

Enrollment Now Open for Independent Repair Providers

Samsung is now accepting applications from qualified independent repair providers interested in becoming part of the Independent Service Provider partner program. Eligible partners will undergo a rigorous training and certification process to ensure they meet Samsung's high standards for quality, expertise, and customer service.
