MORRISTOWN, N.J. , Sept. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- AM Best has upgraded the Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of the members of Crum & Forster Insurance Group (C&F) to A+ (Superior) from A (Excellent), and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Ratings (Long-Term ICRs) to "aa-" (Superior) from "a+" (Excellent). The outlook for these ratings is stable.

This upgrade reflects C&F's very strong balance sheet, solid operating performance, favorable business profile, and robust enterprise risk management. AM Best highlighted C&F's significant growth and diversification in recent years, achieved through organic expansion while maintaining strong underwriting results and reduced volatility. The ratings also reflect the benefits the group derives from its role within the larger Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited enterprise.

Monitor Life continues to demonstrate a very strong balance sheet with stable ratings and a positive outlook as it builds scale and expands its product offerings nationwide.
