Tripadvisor Announces 2025 Travelers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Restaurants, Showcasing the World's Top Dining Venues

Drawn from a full year of real traveler reviews, the awards highlight a diverse range of exceptional culinary experiences, with the restaurants ranking among the top one percent of all restaurant listings on Tripadvisor, offering travelers a trusted guide to unforgettable meals.

The 2025 awards serve up eight distinct subcategories, ranging from Fine Dining, Casual Dining, Vegan & Vegetarian to special occasion favorites like Date Night and Hidden Gems and even Pet-Friendly. To celebrate Tripadvisor's 25th anniversary, the brand introduced a commemorative 25th Anniversary category, alongside a new One-of-a-Kind category that recognizes truly unique dining experiences.

Bodegas Mezquita Céspedes  in Spain was named the top restaurant in Tripadvisor's 25th Anniversary category for its central location near Córdoba's historic center and authentic Cordoban flavors, while Nest in Queenstown, New Zealand earned the inaugural One-of-a-Kind title with its floor to ceiling views of Lake Whakatipu.

This year's top Fine Dining restaurants bring together acclaimed favorites and exciting new entries, exemplifying culinary excellence from around the globe, including three standout restaurants in Brazil, which rank among the world's top 10. On the prestigious Fine Dining list, Fogón Asado in Buenos Aires claims the No. 1 spot in the world for 2025, known for its warm and intimate atmosphere, and interactive grill-centered setting that makes dining memorable. Revival in Charleston claims the No. 1 spot in the U.S – moving up from the No. 4 in 2024 – and taking the No. 7 spot in the world, for its creative takes on Lowcountry classics, and its attentive, personalized service that often goes above and beyond.

Tripadvisor's Hidden Gems list highlights under-the-radar restaurants that offer authentic flavors and local charm, headlined by Indian Kitchen By R&R in Prague, lauded by many travelers for its excellent value, offering generous portion sizes and high-quality food at reasonable prices. For the U.S., 1Kitchen in Nashville, Tennessee grabs the No.1 spot, praised for its fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creative presentations, particularly in its memorable desserts. The 2025 Travelers' Choice Awards for Restaurants are part of Tripadvisor's larger Travelers' Choice Awards umbrella, shining a light on travelers' favorite travel experiences around the world. The Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Awards are determined based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings specific to each subcategory posted on Tripadvisor over the 12-month period from August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025.
