Barbara Kennedy, chief human resources officer at Western Alliance Bank, is one of 25 executives named a 2026 Most Admired Leader by the Phoenix Business Journal.

This esteemed honor recognizes senior executives who demonstrate exceptional leadership in their organizations and communities. Kennedy is one of 25 honorees selected from a competitive field of 160, evaluated for their strengths in leadership, community involvement and contributions to company culture. Last year, Western Alliance President and CEO Ken Vecchione became the company’s first executive to receive this honor as a 2025 “Most Admired Leader.”
