BRIDGEWATER, N.J. , May 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Insmed Incorporated (Nasdaq: INSM), a people-first global biopharmaceutical company striving to deliver first- and best-in-class therapies to transform the lives of patients facing serious diseases, today announced a collaboration with Emmy® Award–winning TV host, designer, and carpenter, Ty Pennington, to launch Suspect Bronchiectasis (Suspect BE). The educational initiative focuses on increasing awareness and proper diagnosis of bronchiectasis, a serious and chronic lung disease that may worsen over time and lead to lung damage. It encourages people with unresolved respiratory symptoms – such as cough, excess mucus, and recurrent lung infections, which may overlap with other respiratory conditions like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or asthma – to talk with a pulmonologist to see if additional testing, like a computed tomography (CT) scan, is the right next step to rule out or confirm bronchiectasis.
