About the company

Metizi AD is a Bulgaria-based company principally engaged in the steel industry. The Company specializes in the production of steel wire ropes, lighting-conductor installations, steel wires, aluminum conductors, and other metal products, such as nails for concrete, steel nails with fluted shank, flat head, chain link fencing, industrial wire mesh and hexagonal steel wire netting. The Company’s products are used in the mining industry, power stations, metallurgy industry, buildings, machine building, and agriculture, among others. Metizi AD exports its products to Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Germany, and Northern Africa, among others. The Company owns two affiliated companies: Konsortsium elmontazhi OOD and Rudmetal. As of December 31, 2011, the Company’s corporate major shareholder was EMU AD with a stake of 20%.
