Union Jack Oil plc is primarily an onshore oil and gas company with a focus on production, drilling, development and investment in the United Kingdom and the United States. The Company has interests in 13 licenses in its axis areas of the East Midlands, Humber Basin and East Yorkshire. It holds several project interests, namely, Wressle, West Newton, Biscathorpe, Keddington, North Kelsey and others. It holds a 16.665% interest in PEDL183, located within the Western sector of the Southern Zechstein Basin, which is on trend with the prolific Hewett gasfield complex. It holds a 40% interest in PEDL180 and PEDL182 located in Lincolnshire, on the Western margin of the Humber Basin and is on trend with the producing Crosby Warren oil field and the Brigg-1 oil discovery, situated to the immediate northwest and southeast of the license respectively. It is producing approximately 25 bopd of oil per day from Carboniferous age sandstone reservoirs, is located along the East Barkwith Ridge.
