C.I. TAKIRON Corporation is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture, processing and sale of resin products and composite products. The Company has four business segments. The Building Materials segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of polycarbonate products, daylighting unit products, light emitting diode (LED) signs, LED indicators, fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) products and other products. The Environmental Materials segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of agricultural materials, packing strings and ropes, irrigation tubes, civil engineering sheets, hard resin plates and other products. The High Functional Materials segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of polycarbonate plates, functional resin plates, cutting materials, polypropylene (PP) filter plates, acetate sheets, flexible magnets and other products. The Functional Film segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of heat shrink films, plastic bags, chuck tapes and other products.
