About the company

Southern Empire Resources Corp. is a Canada-based exploration stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of metals and minerals deposits in the American southwest and northern Mexico. It is particularly focused on those that are amenable to lower-cost metal extraction methodologies, such as heap leaching. Its exploration and development projects include the Pedro, Centauro and La Loma Gold Projects in Mexico, the VLM Project in Mexico, the Oro Cruz Project in California and the Eastgate Gold Project in Nevada, United States. In the Suaqui Grande area of Sonora, (over 140 kilometers southeast of Hermosillo), it also holds the Suaqui Verde Copper Oxide Project and VLM Property. The Pedro Gold Project is located in the Mapimi mineral district with over 1,788 hectares (ha). The VLM Project has approximately 647 ha, which is in northwestern Mexico. It owns around 85% of the Eastgate Gold Project and comprises 12 unpatented lode mining claims.
