Nittetsu Mining Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company principally engaged in resource business, machinery & environment business, real estate business and renewable energy business. The Company operates in five business segments. Ore segment mainly sells limestone, crushed stones, processed products and other related products produced from limestone mines owned by the Company. Metal segment is involved in the smelting and sale of copper bullion and the sale of copper concentrate. Machinery & Environment segment is involved in the sale of water treatment agents and the manufacture and sale of environmentally-friendly products such as dust collectors. Real Estate segment is involved in the rental of office buildings, condominiums, stores, factories and warehouses, as well as the sale of real estate. Renewable Energy segment develops environment-friendly energy through the geothermal sector, solar power generation and hydroelectric power generation.
