Al-'Aqar Healthcare REIT (the Fund) is a Malaysia-based Islamic real estate investment trust. The principal activity of the Fund is to invest in shariah-compliant properties with the primary objective of providing unitholders with stable income distributions per unit and the potential for sustainable long-term growth of such distributions and net asset value per unit. The Fund's investment policy is to diversify its shariah-compliant real estate portfolio with a focus on healthcare-related real estate investment by property and location as well as to explore opportunities with attractive returns. The Fund's portfolio includes approximately 24 properties, comprising 17 hospitals and four wellness/health centers, two colleges in Malaysia and one aged care and retirement village in Australia. The Fund's manager is Damansara REIT Managers Sdn Berhad.
