Camellia Plc is the ultimate holding company of a group of agricultural businesses incorporated in jurisdictions across the world, while also owning and operating other assets outside of agriculture. Its principal activities are based on its core operating companies: Bangladesh, India, Kenya, Kakuzi, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, and Brazil. The operating companies, which have well-established and industrial-scale operations, collectively own and manage circa 50,000 hectares of mature land across seven countries. It focuses on the cultivation of tea, avocado, macadamia, and arable crops. Its subsidiaries include Eastern Produce Malawi, which produces tea and macadamia and operates five macadamia estates and a cracking facility, and Eastern Produce Kenya, which is engaged in tea production along with arable, livestock, forestry, and rubber activities. Its other businesses include AJT Engineering, a specialty engineering services provider, Jing Tea, a tea brand, and EP Cape.
