The Company operates its business through three business segments. The Property & Casualty Insurance segment is involved in the provision of non-life insurance services, such as car insurance, fire insurance and cancer insurance through its subsidiary. The Life Insurance segment is involved in the provision of life insurance services, such as group credit life insurance and group credit unemployment insurance, medical insurance, term insurance through the Internet and insurance agencies. The Small-Amount and Short-Term Insurance segment is involved in the provision of small-amount and short-term insurance services, such as periodic insurance, medical insurance, underwriting standard easing type products and pet insurance through mail order sales through its subsidiaries.
