Guan Chong Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company, which is engaged in the provision of management services. It manufactures, distributes, and trades cocoa butter, cocoa cake, cocoa powder, and cocoa-derived food ingredients. It operates through five geographical segments: Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Germany and Ivory Coast. The Company sells its products under various trademarks, including FAVORICH; Carlyle Cocoa, which supplies cocoa powder to the United States market; SCHOKINAG, a European industrial chocolate brand; and FAVORICH CHOCOLATE, a brand that serves the United Kingdom and European markets. Its subsidiaries include Guan Chong Cocoa Manufacturer Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in the production of cocoa-derived food ingredients; GCB Foods Sdn. Bhd., which is involved in manufacturing, marketing, and promotion of cocoa-related products; GCB Cocoa Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., which is engaged in manufacturing of cocoa cake and other related cocoa products, among others.
