About the company

Rederiaktiebolaget Gotland (Rederi AB Gotland) is a Sweden-based company primarily engaged in investing in vessels in the ferry, roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) and product tanker segments, as well as participating in the development of new vessels. In addition, the Company operates Gotlands Affarsresor, a travel agency specializing in business travel, while the subsidiary Destination Gotland AB is responsible for the operation of the Gotland ferry service. Destination Gotland AB operates ferry services between the port of Visby on Gotland, Sweden, and the ports of Oskarshamn and Nynashamn on the Swedish mainland under an agreement with the Swedish government. The routes are served by two large high-speed ferries, M/S Gotland and M/S Visby, as well as two small high-speed ferries, HSC Gotlandia and HSC Gotlandia II. Rederi AB Gotland also has subsidiaries in Sweden, Switzerland, the Bahamas and Norway. The Company was delisted from the Stockholm Stock Exchange in 2004.
