About the company

Hektar Real Estate Investment Trust (the Trust) is a Malaysia-based retail-focused real estate investment trust (REIT). The Trust's objectives are to invest in income-producing real estate in Malaysia which aim to provide Unitholders with a secure income distribution and to enhance the long-term value of the REIT. The principal activity of the Trust is to acquire and invest in income-producing real estate in Malaysia which is primarily used for retail purposes. The Trust owns approximately seven properties, six neighborhood shopping centers, and one private school throughout Peninsular Malaysia. Its properties are situated in Subang Jaya, Melaka, Muar, Sungai Petani, Kulim, Ayer Keroh, and Segamat. The Trust's manager is Hektar Asset Management Sdn Bhd, and the property manager is Hektar Property Services Sdn Bhd.
