Inabata & Co Ltd is mainly engaged in the sale and manufacture of products in the fields of information and electronics, chemicals, consumer goods, synthetic resins, and other fields. The Company's main businesses are the buying and selling of goods, manufacturing and selling of products, and provision of services. It also develops domestic and overseas strategies. It operates in four segments. The Information and Electronics segment sells semiconductors and liquid crystal materials, machinery and equipment, dyes and pigments for copiers and printers, and materials. The Chemicals segment sells raw materials for automotive parts, resins and rubber, paints, inks and adhesives, papermaking chemicals, dyes and dyeing and weaving materials, wood and laminated lumber. The Consumer Goods segment sells pharmaceutical and agrochemical ingredients, fine chemicals, insecticides and toiletry ingredients. The Synthetic Resins segment sells general-purpose resins, engineering plastics and others.
