Leading Edge Materials Corp. is a Canadian company focused on developing a portfolio of critical raw material projects located in the European Union. Critical raw materials are directly linked to technologies such as batteries for electromobility and energy storage, permanent magnets for electric motors and wind power that underpin the clean energy transition towards climate neutrality, and defense applications. Its portfolio of projects includes the 100% owned Woxna Graphite mine (Sweden), 100% owned Norra Karr Heavy Rare Earth Elements project (Sweden) and the 51% owned Bihor Sud Nickel Cobalt exploration alliance (Romania). The Woxna graphite mine includes four graphite deposits, an open pit mine, a permit to process 100,000 tons of material per annum, a processing plant and tailings dam, located some eight kilometers west-northwest of the town of Edsbyn, Sweden. Bihor Sud Nickel Cobalt exploration license covers a 25 km2 area in the Northern Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania.
