In the Heritage segment, the Company is active in the urbanization of its properties in the Brazilian municipalities of Sao Paulo and Caieiras. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had four subsidiaries: Melpaper Ltda, Melhoramentos Florestal Ltda, Editora Melhoramentos Ltda and Melhoramentos de Sao Paulo Arbor Ltda.
