Pick n Pay Stores Limited is a South Africa-based investment holding company. The Company is principally engaged in the retail of food, health and beauty products, general merchandise, clothing, liquor and additional value-added-services, throughout Africa, on an owned and franchised basis. The Company also acquires and develops strategic retail and distribution sites. The Company also has an investment in TM Supermarkets (Pvt) Limited, which operates supermarkets throughout Zimbabwe. It trades under two main brands, namely Pick n Pay and Boxer. Pick n Pay operates on an owned and franchise basis and operates in a flexible and diverse portfolio of stores and online platforms. The Boxer is a discount supermarket that caters for the needs of the enlarged middle to lower income consumer market. It operates approximately 2,227 stores across South Africa, Botswana, eSwatini, Lesotho, Namibia, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
