About the company

Lion Copper and Gold Corp. is advancing its flagship copper assets at Yerington, Nevada through an option to earn-in agreement with Nuton LLC, a Rio Tinto venture. The Company owns a 100% interest in the MacArthur, Yerington and Wassuk properties and has an option to earn a 100% interest in the Bear property in Nevada. It also owns interests in Copper Canyon, Blue Copper and Muncy Creek properties. The Yerington Mine Property covers approximately 11 square miles, centered on the former Anaconda open pit copper mine. This includes about five fee simple parcels and 82 patented mining claims totaling 2,767.66 acres, and 1,113 unpatented lode and placer claims totaling 22,996 acres administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The MacArthur Project consists of unpatented lode claims and placer claims and covers lands administered by the United States Department of BLM. The Bear Deposit is located about 10,000-feet north-northeast of the Yerington pit.
