Heliostar Metals Ltd. is a Canada-based gold mining company with production from operating mines in Mexico. It is engaged in gold and silver mining, exploration and related activities in Mexico and Alaska. It operates the open-pit La Colorada gold mine in Hermosillo, Mexico, and the open-pit San Agustin gold mine in Durango, Mexico. Its projects include Ana Paula Project, San Antonio Project, Cerro del Gallo Project, Unga Project, Oso Negro, La Lola property, and Cumaro. The San Agustin property is in the northern San Lucas de Ocampo Mining District. The Ana Paula Project is in the north central part of the state of Guerrero in southern Mexico, halfway between Mexico City and the Port of Acapulco. The San Antonio Project is a gold development project in the State of Baja California Sur. The Cerro del Gallo Project is a gold-silver development project in the State of Guanajuato, and its deposit covers an area of 16,940.9 hectares and consists of 15 contiguous mining concessions.
