SMA Solar Technology and its subsidiaries (SMA Group) primarily engaged in develop, produce and sell systems and solutions for generation, storage and use of solar energy. The Company operates through three segments: Home solution segment, SMA group offers integrated solar energy solutions for private PV systems. The new SMA Home Energy Solutions comprises systems for the generation, storage and management of solar energy as well as for heating and charging purpose. Large Scale & Project Solution segment offers products, systems and solutions for industrial solar, storage and hydrogen projects as well as for the conversion of utility grids to a proportion of renewable energy. The Commercial and Industrial Solutions segment focus is on global markets for commercial PV systems with and without energy management, battery storage and electrical vehicle charging solutions.
