About the company

Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd is a United States-based metal producing company. It is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling ferroalloys, iron, and steel products, as well as power generation. Its product portfolio includes iron pellets, sponge iron, billets, stainless-steel, thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars, structural steel, wire rods, power, ferro alloys, and aluminum foil. Pellets are a type of agglomerated iron ore fines that are used as raw materials for sponge iron and blast furnaces. Its Sponge iron is a spongy mass of iron, which is a metallic product produced through direct reduction of iron ore or iron pellets in the solid state. Billets are used as raw materials for the manufacture of TMT and structural products. Its structural steel includes hot rolled steel products such as angles, channels, and beams. It has manufacturing facilities at Sambalpur, Jamuria, Mangalpur, and Pakuria.
