About the company

Sovereign Metals Limited is an Australia-based company is focused on developing its Kasiya Rutile-Graphite Project (Kasiya) in Malawi. Kasiya is located in the Lilongwe District of the Southeastern African country of Malawi. Kasiya’s Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) is 1.8Bt at 1.0% rutile resulting in over18 Mt tons of contained natural rutile. The MRE has broad zones of very high-grade rutile, which occur contiguously across a very large area of over 200 square kilometers. Kasiya’s graphite by-product Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) is 1.8 Bt at 1.4% graphite, containing over 24.4 Mt tones of contained natural graphite. The Kasiya Rutile-Graphite deposit is in an area northwest of Malawi’s capital of Lilongwe called the Lilongwe Plain.
