Thornburg Income Builder Opportunities Trust (the Trust) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust’s investment objective is to seek current income and additional total return. Under normal market conditions, the Trust will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing, directly or indirectly, at least 80% of its managed assets in a range of income-producing securities. The Trust will invest in both equity and debt securities of companies located in the United States and around the globe. The Trust may invest in non-U.S. domiciled companies, including up to 20% of the Trust’s managed assets at the time of investment in equity and debt securities of emerging market companies. The Trust invests in various sectors, which include communication services, information technology, utilities, financials, energy, materials, health care, consumer discretionary, consumer staples and industrials. Its investment advisor is Thornburg Investment Management, Inc.
