TransAct Technologies Incorporated develops and sells software-driven technology and printing solutions for markets, including food service, casino, and gaming, and point of sale (POS) automation. The Company’s solutions are designed based on customer requirements and are sold under the BOHA!, AccuDate, EPICENTRAL, Epic and Ithaca brands. Its primary offering in the food service technology market is its line of BOHA! Products. In the POS market, it sells a printer utilizing thermal printing technology. It sells several models of printers used in slot machines and video lottery terminals (VLTs) and other gaming machines that print tickets or receipts instead of issuing coins at casinos, racetracks, and other gaming venues worldwide. It also offers a software solution, the EPICENTRAL Print System.
