Wesizwe Platinum Limited is a platinum group metals (PGMs) mining company. The Company's flagship project, the Bakubung Platinum Mine (BPM, the mine), is located in the Bushveld Igneous Complex, near Rustenburg in Northwest province, South Africa. The mining properties are located on portions of the farms Ledig and Frischgewaagd. These two farms are located directly south of the Pilanesberg complex. The BPM comprises of a twin vertical shaft system, comprising a main shaft and service shaft. The main shaft can hoist approximately 250 kilotons per month (ktpm) of ore and over 15 ktpm of waste during the steady-state production. It is also developing the BPM underground mining operation with a processing facility on surface for PGM concentrate to be sold to PGM smelters in South Africa.
